Neighbour and I walked for the first time in days (she has been ill). Anyway, I wore my new handy-dandy heart rate monitor and let me tell you, I severely under estimated how hard I was working. Walking up hills is fine but that is only about 30% of our walking. The rest is downhill or flat ground and my hr is nowhere near where it should be. Time to revamp our route to give us more/longer/steeper hills.
