Scale out of whack?
I stepped on the scale this morning and I weighed in at 165. Let's see if it stays there until Monday.

I forgot to post my weight on Monday - 166.5. So finally down 4 pounds. And clearly not going to make my goal by the end of the month. But atleast I am down and not up, right?

Down another 0.5 pounds for a total of 3.5 pounds. I made a mistake last week and said I was down 4 pounds. Apparently I cannot do simple subtraction (I was only down 3).
Probably no exercise today.

Exercise
Today I stood for 1.5 hours at Jax's baseball practice. I wonder how many calories you burn standing vs sitting...
I walked from our house to Dex's baseball practice today - 2.56 miles according to Mapquest. I pushed Cars in the stroller, there was one big hill going down and one long hill going back up. Jax rode alongside me on his bike. It was a 40 minute walk at a good clip.
Not sure if I am walking tonight with neighbour or not. She is still sick but also getting packed and ready for a 3 week trip to Japan with her kids. If we do walk tonight, I will add another 3 miles to my total for the day.
Oh, I found a calorie burn calculator. Standing for 90 minutes burns 135 calories vs sitting for 90 minutes (120 calories).

Today: Walked 2.71 miles at the club on the treadmill then did crunches, leg lifts and stretching.

It's a Miracle!
Thursday: No exercise
Friday: 30 minutes of walking only
Saturday: No exercise
Sunday: Played catch with Jax for 45 mins (I had to chase the ball a lot until his throwing improved)
Monday weigh-in: 167.5 pounds (4 pounds gone! and I even fell off the roof!).

Monday: 120 crunches (ouch!) but no walking
Tuesday: 2.9 miles at the club on the treadmill, 15 mins stretching (and a steam sauna and whirlpool!), 2.5 miles walking with Neighbour

One Week Into The Challenge
I am down 1.5 pounds. Whoo-hoo. Of course this is not from exercise or a healthy diet. It is just from giving up chocolate and all beverages other than tea and water (given up for Lent).
Let's see how I do by next Monday.

Walked 3 miles today but in regular runners. I also did 120 crunches using the exercise ball. I am sure I will feel it tomorrow.

Sedentary again
No walking last night or tonight. I did stand and walk for 1.5 hours while Dex had his baseball practice.
