Short Walk
Neighbour wanted to watch the Olympics so we just took a short walk tonight - probably about just over 1 mile. To make up for the short distance we walked FAST (and I wore my weighted shoes).

I took the kids to the club again today. We went during the lunch hour so the pool was pretty empty which was nice. Lots of back and forth across the pool.
Three miles with Neighbour but I wore
weighted shoes. My back is a little sore now.

Play Ball!
No walking tonight because "Desperate Housewives" is on. But I did take Jax to the park for 1.5 hours to practice baseball with a team mate (his mom is the one I spoke about in my other blog whose has a degenerative brain disease). Both of his parents were there too and the boys practiced throwing, catching and hitting so I did a lot of running.

Picking up the Pace
Friday: It was cold and brisk so Neighbour and I walked much quicker and finished our 3 miles in 40 minutes.
Saturday: Walked 0.5 miles with the family after dinner (around the block) then walked 3 miles with Neighbour in 40 minutes. Another cold night helped set our pace.

Club It
I went to the club today.
35 mins cardio (treadmill) - walked ~ 2.5 miles, burned 205 calories
Arm lifts using some machine that I do not know the name of.
Cars went into the daycare centre without a problem.

Yard Work
No exercise yesterday (date night) and I won't be walking tonight but I did 1.5 hours of yard work. Not sure how many calories that translates into but I know tomorrow I will feel it when my arms and back ache.

No pezercise yesterday except for getting up and down while cheering for the Seahawks (who lost).
Tonight, Neighbour and I walked 2.5 miles.

Calm before the storm
I walked 1 mile this afternoon because I was in a pissy mood. I must be PMS-ing. Plus I figured it would rain tonight so I might not get a walk in. But the weather held so Neighbour and I walked our 3 mile route for a total today of 4 miles.
Tomorrow a storm is rolling in that by Sunday will bring "hurricane force" winds. I hope it doesn't knock out the power on Super Bowl Sunday! Go Seahawks!

Walking again
I walked to pick the kids up from school today (2 miles round trip). The walk home from the school was brutal since I hadn't walked in a few days and I was pushing a stroller loaded down with two heavy back-packs uphill (0.25 miles!).
Tonight, Neighbour and I walked 3 miles.
Total today = 5 miles
Oh, I also did some leg-lifts (but I really need to do some crunches!)
